Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the CookWoW platform ("the Platform") operated by Asas Albahth Commercial Company ("us", "we", or "our"). The Platform includes our website at cookwow.fun, our mobile applications (iOS and Android), and all related services. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You must not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or use a false identity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity. You must notify us immediately at info@cookwow.fun if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements. Creator accounts (chefs, home cooks, farmers, nutritionists, food lab testers, tasters) require the user to be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.
The Platform supports multiple user roles, each with specific responsibilities:
• Chefs and Home Cooks — May publish recipes, videos, courses, accept meal orders, manage restaurant profiles, and sell digital content. Must ensure all content is original and food safety guidelines are followed. • Farmers — May list and sell farm products, conduct live auctions, and run marketplace livestreams. Must ensure product descriptions are accurate and comply with food safety regulations. • Nutritionists — May offer paid consultations and publish nutrition content. Must hold valid professional qualifications and provide accurate health information. CookWoW does not verify professional credentials and is not liable for advice given. • Food Lab Testers — May offer food testing services. Must follow proper scientific methodology and provide accurate results. • Tasters — May offer tasting sessions and reviews. Must provide honest, constructive feedback. • Users — May browse content, make purchases, subscribe to creators, and participate in the community.
All users must comply with our Terms of Use and Content Guidelines.
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to the Platform ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. This license continues until you delete the content or your account, except where your content has been shared with or purchased by other users.
You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content; (b) your User Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; (c) your User Content complies with all applicable laws and our Content Guidelines; and (d) your User Content does not contain false, misleading, defamatory, or harmful information. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
The Platform facilitates transactions between buyers and creators. Payments are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system (on iOS), Tap Payments (on web and Android), or PayPal where supported. For digital purchases (creator subscriptions, content unlocks, courses), you pay from your CookWoW Wallet — credit you add to the wallet in advance. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable taxes. Prices are displayed in the currency of the creator's configured payout country. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled. You may cancel any subscription at any time through your account settings (iOS users may also cancel via iOS Settings → Subscriptions).
Creator earnings are subject to a platform fee (currently 10% of the transaction value). Earnings are held in escrow as follows: content and subscription purchases are released immediately; custom requests, consultations, tasting sessions, and food lab tests are held until completion or 24 hours after delivery; farm product orders are held for 24 hours; affiliate commissions are held for 7 days. Creators can withdraw their available balance to a verified bank account or PayPal. Refund policies are detailed in our Terms of Sale.
You agree not to: (a) initiate a chargeback for a wallet top-up while still holding or having spent the corresponding credit; (b) attempt to manipulate the wallet ledger or any related transaction records; (c) use the wallet to circumvent geographic restrictions on creator content where such restrictions apply.
The Platform and its original content (excluding User Content), features, functionality, design, logos, trademarks, and source code are and will remain the exclusive property of Asas Albahth Commercial Company and its licensors. The Platform is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Saudi Arabia and international treaties. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without our prior written consent. The CookWoW name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are our trademarks.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on our Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to info@cookwow.fun containing: (a) a description of the copyrighted work; (b) the URL of the infringing content; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including removing infringing content, within a reasonable timeframe.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (B) RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE; (C) ANY CONTENT, INCLUDING RECIPES, NUTRITIONAL ADVICE, OR FOOD PRODUCTS, WILL BE SAFE, ACCURATE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ANY RELIANCE ON CONTENT PROVIDED BY OTHER USERS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR FOOD ALLERGIES, HEALTH REACTIONS, OR ANY HARM RESULTING FROM RECIPES, NUTRITIONAL ADVICE, OR FOOD PRODUCTS OBTAINED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ASAS ALBAHTH COMMERCIAL COMPANY, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE PLATFORM; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM; (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT; OR (E) ANY FOOD PRODUCTS, MEAL ORDERS, CONSULTATIONS, OR SERVICES OBTAINED THROUGH THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Asas Albahth Commercial Company, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any rights of another party, including intellectual property rights; (e) any food products you sell or services you provide through the Platform; or (f) any claim that your content caused damage to a third party.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination: (a) your right to use the Platform ceases immediately; (b) we may delete your account data (subject to our Privacy Policy retention schedule); (c) outstanding payments owed to you will be processed within 30 days; (d) you remain liable for any pending transactions or obligations. You may terminate your account at any time through Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Saudi Arbitration Law. The arbitration shall be conducted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in Arabic or English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, pandemics, power outages, internet failures, fire, floods, or any other force majeure event.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Terms of Sale, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.
Our mobile application is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Your use of the mobile app is also subject to: (a) the App Store Terms of Service if downloaded from Apple's App Store, and (b) the Google Play Terms of Service if downloaded from Google Play. The mobile app operates as a wrapper for our web platform — all content is loaded from cookwow.fun. App updates may be required for continued access to the Platform. We are not responsible for the performance of the app on devices that do not meet the minimum requirements.
Payment handling differs by platform: the iOS app uses Apple In-App Purchase for digital content and subscriptions. The Android app and the web both use our web payment provider (Tap Payments) and follow the cancellation and refund terms in our Terms of Sale.
For mobile-app-specific provisions including Apple's End-User License terms (no warranty by Apple, Apple as third-party beneficiary, export compliance), see Section 14 (Mobile App End-User License) of our Terms of Use. For iOS in-app subscription disclosures (auto-renewal, cancellation via Apple ID, no refund for unused periods), see Section 15 (In-App Subscriptions) of our Terms of Use. For data we collect from in-app purchases and mobile advertising, see Sections 14-16 of our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email notification and/or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
