Payment behavior depends on which mobile platform you use:
CookWoW does not charge extra processing fees on purchases. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, plus applicable VAT. Payment processor fees are absorbed by the platform. Currency conversion fees may apply for international cards — check with your bank. On the iOS app, Apple retains its own commission (up to 30%) on in-app purchases — see Mobile App Payments above. No App Store fee applies to Android or web purchases.
All payments on CookWoW are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. Your payment information is encrypted end-to-end and never stored on our servers. We use 3D Secure (Verified by Visa / Mastercard SecureCode) for additional fraud protection. All transactions are monitored for suspicious activity.
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Digital content is non-refundable after access is granted unless materially defective. Physical products can be returned within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
